Lost in the urban jungle

Sunday is not my day. It almost made me to blurt out vulgarities because of these external factors i will share with you people. My club had an outreach teaching PBL to the community. Of all days, SUNDAY was chosen! ARgh! So many things happen today! wakao! The "stress" that i had was unbearable.

I woke up at 5.15am to get ready for school. YES!! 5.15am for school! My club had arranged for a bus ride that will be arriving at 7.20am. SO i had to prepare early just in case I miss the public bus. After all, I live in the East Coast GRC and i had to travel up north. This would take me 1 hour to go to school. Yes, A SOLID 1 HOUR from Bedok Interchange to Woodlands Interchange.

After i've changed and all, I waited for the bus near my house at about 5.45am. Listening to my favourite Radio channel while patiently waiting for the bus. But this F***ing bus didn't come for a solid 1/2 hour! It pissed me off EARLY IN THE MORNING! I had no choice but to go to the community place straight by taking the MRT. It was a long painful butt journey.

I took the MRT and unluckily arrived at Tiong Bahru MRT Station early that i expected. Damn, it's only 7.30am and the event starts at only 8.30am! Argh! Luckily there's a Newpaper to read and burn time.

I board a bus at about 8am to reach the place. HOWEVER, I didn't! Instead of reaching the place, the bus when to City Hall, you know the St Andrew Cathedral Church? wakao! I took the correct bus BUT wrong direction!! ARGH!!!! I even saw Army people running all sweaty and i don't know why. I totally went off course!

I had no choice but to take MRT from City Hall back to Tiong Bahru. Another bad thing happened, I had a stomachache! you know, tapien? (if my spelling is correct) Wakao, I cannot tahan the "feel" man! This thing all happen at about 8.20am and i'm trying to rush myself to the place!

However I did reached at the end. Hey, happy ending. But, in the event that my club attended we had to teach PBL to the students and it was quite hard to break the "strangers-friend" ceiling as everybody was shy (not me of course, lolx) Um, the event went smoothly and the students grasp what we teached.

That was what we came to achieve. By then, a lesson learnt. When you don't know of a place, ask the bus driver the place! don't be shy or try to act cool! You might end up in some urban jungle and meet sweaty Army people who you don't even want to get close to!!

Lastly, here are some pictures from the event.
